The service provides high-quality support to Service users with Learning Disabilities on the Autistic Spectrum within an active support framework
Banner House service procedures are underpinned by the principles of Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) which promotes proactive and preventative strategies to support behaviours that challenge to avert crisis and keep safe. Behaviour Support Plan guides support staff on the least restrictive approach to working with individuals.
Ultimately the service draws on the model of Active Support, Co-production, Personalisation and Reflective Practice to support individuals with behaviour of concerns and complex needs to enable them to thrive in the community
